Researchers who study this sort of thing say that a person will have as many as five careers in a lifetime.  I started out as a receptionist and secretary.  I was promoted to a position as a paralegal before switching companies to become an office manager and bookkeeper.  I left to become a mother and homemaker.

As my son neared his high school graduation and my husband started contemplating an early retirement, I realized that my life would be changing dramatically even if I did nothing.  So I decided to do something; I applied to law school.  And I obtained the degree that I had wanted since a favorite high school history teacher introduced me to Constitutional Law.
